How do I create a loop to iterate through Twitter Status-IDs in R?

I have a dataset of >1Mio Tweet- and Status-IDs and want to download the metadata by using the lookup_tweets function from the rtweet-Package. For this I want to create a loop that iterates through the IDs because the limit of downloading tweet-metadata is 90k.

How do I do this?

I tried:

for(i in 1:length(dayone.loop)){
  dayone.tweets.new <- lookup_tweets(dayone.loop$tweet_id, parse = TRUE, token = NULL)
  Sys.sleep(15*60)
}

I get this error:

number of statuses exceed max per tokencollecting data for first 90,000 idsRequesting token on behalf of user...
Waiting for authentication in browser...
Press Esc/Ctrl + C to abort
Authentication complete.
number of statuses exceed max per tokencollecting data for first 90,000 ids

Did I get the loop at least halfway right? I am quite new to R and could need some help also on how I get around the 90k limit. Thanks!
