Currently, the package https://pub.dev/packages/google_maps_flutter_web allows to access the Maps api by providing the following tag in the index.html file:
<script src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=YOUR_API_KEY"></script>
Is there any way to secure this api key and not expose it like this in the code?
I am also using Environment Variables to set this api key but when the browser renders the page, it just replaces the variable with the api key value.
